A complete perspective of our logistics company

Account Management

Account Management is an extension of both Sales and Supply Chain Management and promotes the collaboration of information between all parties — including suppliers, carriers, plant personnel and internal resources. By using standard processes that are influenced by customer-specific needs, the Account Management team has a finger on the pulse of our clients' entire operations.

Supply Chain Management

Supply Chain Operations is responsible for all tactical operations, managing the scope of work defined for clients through their unique logistics plans. It is their role to ensure that a high level of service is maintained for every account.

Quality

As an ISO 9001:2008 registered organization, our quality system is comprised of a dynamic series of procedures and work instructions to support organizational development, operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives, both throughout our company and our clients’ networks.

And, as the foundation of our continued growth and success, our lean culture produces a fundamental operational strategy that develops processes and people across the company. From 5S to Process Evaluation, we consistently and systematically review, re-engineer, and re-invent the logistics solutions to maintain continued alignment with client goals.

Procurement

This team is responsible for carrier relations, contracting truckload and less-than-truckload carriers, negotiating rates and resolving conflict. All carriers’ contract information, contacts, rates, insurance and safety scores are maintained and housed in this department.

Route Management

We manage the shipments within your supply chain to assure uninterrupted operations at all times. ProTrans Optimiz TMS software monitors pickup and delivery information for all modes of manageable shipments. Plus, direct, real-time exception reporting details changes occurring in the routed network and offers real-time decision-making regarding inventory and production planning.

Engineering & Analysis

Critical to our long-term growth and success, Engineering & Analysis is tasked with building transportation solutions that help current and future clients drive efficiencies and savings they would not be able to recognize on their own.

Consolidation

We strategically align service centers along the borders separating the United States from neighboring industrial countries. Now with 27 facilities operational in North America, we are poised to handle consolidations throughout much of Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Because of this strategic placement, we are able to easily consolidate an increased amount of raw material inventory at one location prior to transportation to the border region. As a result of this process, clients experience an immediate decrease in transportation costs and a greater sense of control over supplier shipping schedules.

Freight Management

Designed to provide quick-response pricing and resources for the movement of unplanned shipments, Freight Management focuses on providing perfect customer service on every move — with a goal of 15-minute response times for each new opportunity.

Marketing

This team is responsible for establishing and maintaining the ProTrans brand through advertising, public relations, customer relationship management and all other forms of communication.

We have advertised in major magazines such as Inbound Logistics (US), Mexico Now (Mexico) and Automotive Logistics (UK & International), and have also launched a major public relations push to share valuable insights with the industry in the form of blogs, articles and interviews, and press releases.
