Craig Roeder
Chief Executive Officer

Craig Roeder serves as Chief Executive Officer of ProTrans, a position he has held since the company was founded in 1993.  In this role, he leads the company in its quest to continuously develop innovative solutions and products for our clients.

Roeder started ProTrans in 1993 with just a few employees and a vision of providing clients something different.  Today, ProTrans has over 600 employees in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.   ProTrans continues to look for innovative solutions that will help our clients reduce logistics costs and enhance their supply not just today, but in the future.  He is proud that many of the first customers almost twenty years ago are still active with ProTrans today.

Prior to starting ProTrans, Roeder worked many years in logistics both as an entrepreneur and at RCA.

He holds an accounting degree from Indiana University.  He resides in the Indianapolis, Indiana area with his family.  Apart from ProTrans, much of his time is devoted to his family and the community.

John Woods
EVP Sales and Marketing

John Woods serves as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ProTrans, a position he has held since 2008. In this role, in addition to leading all sales and marketing activities, he is responsible for the company's strategic planning. Over the last decade, he has served ProTrans in a variety of sales and operational roles.

Woods joined ProTrans in 1999 as a sales consultant in Southern California. In 2003, he was relocated to El Paso as the Regional Director of Border Sales. From 2005 to 2008, He was based in Queretaro, Mexico and served as the Director General of ProTrans de Mexico overseeing sales, operations, and administration.

Prior to joining ProTrans, Woods held a variety of sales and operations positions in the NVOCC division of Consolidated Freightways.

A graduate of Texas Christian University, Woods holds a Bachelor of Science degree. He currently resides in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

Lisa Doerner
VP Finance

Lisa Doerner serves as Vice President of Finance for ProTrans, a position she has held since 2009. In this role, she leads all accounting and analysis activities along with strategic planning.

Doerner first joined ProTrans back in 1995 in the Accounting department. From 1999 to 2004, she worked in the Analysis department later serving as Manager of Analysis from 2004 to 2009. These many years of experience give her amazing insight into the inter-workings of the company.

A graduate of Indiana University, Doerner has a degree in Accounting. She resides in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

Shawn Masters
VP Operations

Shawn Masters serves as Vice President of Operations for ProTrans, a position he has held since 2009. In this role, he leads all operational activities including consolidation, transportation management, procurement and 3PL services.  He has over 18 years in logistics and manufacturing experience.

Masters joined ProTrans in 2006 as Vice President of Logistics where he spent three years leading the development of the 3PL program and many of the supply chain components incorporating our complete logistics management solutions today.

Prior to joining ProTrans, Masters was Director, Customer Logistics at Ryder Logistics.  He was involved in many account startups including top tier one and OEM manufacturing accounts.

A graduate of Central Michigan University, Masters holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics Management and Marketing. He currently resides in the Detroit, Michigan area.

Allen Phelps
CIO

Allen Phelps serves as the Chief Information Officer for ProTrans, a position he has held for almost two decades. In this role, he leads all strategic development in bringing technology and solid business solutions together to make ProTrans a leader in providing innovative and consistent results to its customers.

Prior to joining ProTrans, Phelps served as IT Director for Celadon Trucking.

A graduate of Ivy Technical College of Indiana, Phelps holds an Associates of Computer Science and Technology degree. He is currently a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kathy Joy
Director of Human Resources

Kathy Joy serves as Director of Human Resources for ProTrans, a position she has held for over a decade. She is responsible for managing policy development, payroll, compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee communications and safety for the entire network.

Prior to joining ProTrans, Joy worked in recruiting and education.

She holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Ball State University. She also has earned her PHR (Professional in Human Resources Certification) and CWCC (Certified Workers Compensation Counselor). She resides in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
