Company history

Our road to success

Founded in 1993, ProTrans launched as a response to emerging opportunities in consolidations and logistics services — supporting manufacturing markets from the Midwest to Texas, and into Mexico. Through this business model, we provided cost savings to clients as we consolidated their freight.

In 1994, The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was signed to promote economic growth between the US, Canada and Mexico by easing the movement of goods and services. We saw the chance to participate in the emerging maquiladora operations along the US/Mexico border and transformed their initial business plan to allow us to expand and diversify their service offerings.

Now, we provide customers with creatively engineered solutions. Our success is directly attributed to the dedication, perseverance and flexibility inherent in each member of our team. Our commitment to recruiting, developing and maintaining a high-quality workforce will continue to drive our success. And lastly, our ongoing utilization and enhancement of technology and communication tools will only ensure our continued growth.
